MoneyWise Coaching Program
**Disclaimer: This project is a creative mockup and is not associated with any real client. It was developed purely for portfolio purposes.**
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Brand: MoneyWise (Financial coaching program)
Industry: Finance
Copy type: Short-form landing page
Goal: To position them as approachable, non-judgmental, and results-driven while convincing visitors to book a free 20-minute consultation for their 1:1 coaching program.
Introduction: MoneyWise is a financial coaching company that provides 1:1 coaching programs. Their latest coaching program is to guide and help young people get on the right track towards financial freedom and to live a debt-free life.
CHALLENGE
The brand was struggling to get signups for its 1:1 coaching program targeting a younger demographic. They were using the same landing page that was used for all their other coaching programs. They weren’t personalising their landing pages to the needs of their different target audiences.
MY STRATEGY
The first thing I did was to study their target audience for this project, youngsters who don’t know much about financial planning, are commonly overwhelmed by all the financial information out there, and have no clue where to start. The goal was to position MoneyWise as a credible source but also a relatable friend in the finance industry. I crafted landing page copy that not only speaks to their target audience but also relates to their struggles and doesn’t shame them for any lack of knowledge.

Copy Highlights
Opening section about financial planning
I used this section after the main hero section to touch base on financial planning. I wanted to highlight common misconceptions people have towards the topic and how the MoneyWise Coaching program helps young people get on the road to financial freedom.
I wanted to help them keep an open mind by talking about how this program helps them achieve that, so they don’t feel overwhelmed.
Pain point card pop-up section
I wanted to highlight the struggles or common emotions people feel when it comes to planning their finances, budgeting, and paying off debt. I utilised this section by using a card pop-up visual that makes each individual card pop up as the user scrolls.
This is a great way to include a little bit of interactivity with the user that slowly highlights one pain point at a time and building on each emotion they feel before we introduce the brand’s solution.
Coaching program introduction
I wanted to make the introduction of the program short yet packed with a punch of information that doesn’t overwhelm readers but provides them with sufficient information to make a decision and take action.
I highlighted how the program isn’t one size fits all because people appreciate personalisation and tailored solutions, especially when they’re investing money in the solution.
There is a clear and separate section for what readers will get during the 3-month program. I highlighted benefits like how they wouldn’t have to cut out their fun activities, strategies that won’t suffocate them, and more. The goal is to educate without overwhelming readers, which is why I made the copy digestible.
A benefit-driven section with storytelling
I wanted to highlight the benefits and the lifestyle that MoneyWise’s target audience can have from joining the coaching program. For this section I suggested a card pop-up design as the user scrolls which is similar to the pain point section design.
This helps paint a picture for the reader of the life they can have by becoming financially literate and planning it with the right tools. Our goal is to take the reader on a journey, build the story around them so they feel a deep connection with the brand. That inspires them to take action.
How to get started section
I ended the landing page with a how to get started section. I find this very helpful, rather than just placing buttons around the landing page telling readers to book a consultation call, etc. because it informs the users exactly what the process is like for the coaching program.
It takes out all the guesswork and gives them a clear picture of what step 1 is, then step 2, step 3, and so on. When readers have clarity, they are more inclined to take action because they know exactly what to expect moving forward. Confused readers leave almost immediately, so avoid that at all costs.
