Hi I’m Moneishaa, an email + landing page copywriter. I love my job now, but it didn’t always start that way. I graduated and started my career as a software engineer for a bit, but quickly realised it wasn’t for me and pivoted into copywriting instead.

My passion for writing, critical and creative thinking has always shown up in many areas of my life. I remember pretending that I was a writer since I was a kid. I’d sit in front of my dad’s computer and think intently about ways to make my story better and for others to enjoy it more.

I would take my time to brainstorm how others were going to benefit from the things I wrote and focus on connecting them with what I was creating, be it a program I was coding or a story I was writing. 

Long story short? My childhood obsession with roleplaying as a writer eventually led me to become one - specifically an email and landing page copywriter. 

As a fellow small business owner, I realised how difficult and awkward it can be to sing your own praises. It shouldn’t be, but sometimes that’s just the reality of the situation. In moments like those, are you going to spend hours, days, or even months figuring out the right words to say, only for it to still sound awkward when you read it out loud?
